Orphaned Land is an Israeli-born band known for their unique approach that combines elements of progressive metal, melodic Death Metal and Middle Eastern ethnic music. The band was formed in 1991 in Petah Tikva, Israel, and is often referred to as one of the pioneers of eastern metal or “oriental metal”. For frontman Pedro Ferreira, this is a unique opportunity: “It’s a dream coming true. Since the inception of Royal Rage we’ve dreamed of traveling the world doing shows as our idols, and our time has come!
