This weekend, Spanish post hardcore group The Distance continue the promotion of their new album The Wound with on tour in Castello and Valencia in Spain! They’ve also added a new date in Barcelona, at the Freedonia hall, where thry’ll play on October 4th with their good friends, Minor Planets.
The tour runs through to October with more dates being added a possibility.
The Distance – The Wound
The Wound, from Spanish post hardcore group The Distance, consist of nine songs with honest lyrics that are based on its singer’s personal experiences. The guitars follow the path they started in their first album playing powerful hardcore riffs, combined with clean post-rock (like in A Heart Covered In Bruises). Songs like I Thought You’d Take My Hand introduces some noise reminiscence and others like Insomnia/Nightmare play with dissonance to keep the tension and emotion of the song.
