6th Counted Murder (IT) Thrash | Prog | Death Metal
6th Counted Murder is a Prog/Thrash/Death metal band from Milan, Italy, founded in late 2011. All the members have been active on the Italian metal scene for some years, and together they’re now ready to ‘commit new crimes’! The band write their own material, which is a unique hybrid of the metal styles they favour individually and as a band.
Once the group got established in their exclusive headquarters called Basement Studios, the guys set up a small recording studio and spent a full year composing, practicing and improving their skills. They put everything themselves into making the first full-length album, self-titled 6th Counted Murder, which was released on Halloween of 2013. The release of the album was followed by a big live and press promotion in 2013/2014.
In late 2014 the band decided to part ways with front man Luca, aka ‘Luppolo’ and although his position would remain vacant for over a year, the band spent the period working with intensity and inspiration on the composition of what is about to be 6th Counted Murder’s next album. An additional injection of energy in the new songs has come from the new front man Simone, who’s been officially rocking with the band for almost two years. The new album is due to be released worldwide in September via Sliptrick Records!
