The Absense (IT) Alternative Rock | Post Black | Grunge | Doom | Stoner
The Absense was formed in the early 90’s with the purpose of creating an original sound with new music influences and composed of different and underground styles. The main goal of the band is to close the gap between mankind and nature and to compound that purpose, all the lyrics are obsessed with paganism and ancient rites.
The Absense are a music project completely free and pagan. They love rural, dirty sounds and the mix of clean vocals with distortion symbolizes a door opening on the glorious past of romantic European movements. The lyrics mainly talk about ancient gods, but there also are personal and intimate facts. The band was initially just founder Luca Siri and his brother, Michele, but now it has expanded and contains two new members, the singer Gianna Pinotti and the drummer Luca Pagliari.
The bands new album Khronocracy will be their 5th release and will see the light of day via Sliptrick Records soon.
