Joining the ranks at Sliptrick Records this week:
Avalanche (AUS) Hard Rock
“Heart-racing, gut busting, roof crashing, fast paced rock n’ roll, sent directly from the devil himself to brighten your day.” Avalanche are a hard rock band from Sydney, Australia that stand out from the crowd. Young, hard-working and hungry for opportunity, the group is a force to be reckoned with. Never pretending to be anything other than a straight ahead, hard rock band, Avalanche started in 2018 when guitarist Veronica ‘V’ Taleski, drummer Ryan Roma, and lead vocalist/bassist Steven Campbell got together to jam in an old steel factory in western Sydney. Joined by their mutual love of rock n’ roll and their dad’s old records, they soon started playing all the pubs and venues that would have them with a brand of rock not seen played by such young musicians since the days of AC/DC, Aerosmith, Kiss and Led Zeppelin.
Gaining attention for they’re strong work ethic, killer live shows and solid song-writing, Avalanche have been invited to record their next release at The Grove Studios in Somersby, an internationally renowned recording facility designed and built by Garry Gary Beers from the legendary band INXS.
Avalanche’s upcoming EP Sent From Hell (released via Sliptrick Records) will leave audiences wanting more and with its gutsy raw-rock style, the band has really captured a sound reminiscent of the golden age of hard rock. These firebrands show no signs of letting up or slowing down so catch them while you can!
