US hard rock group Residual Self have released a new official video for the song Damaged, a track taken from their album Revenge, out via Sliptrick Records in 2021.
The band stated; “Damaged is a calling; For those who are made to feel flawed. Those who feel banished like outcasts. It’s time to join Residual Self under the blood moon. For when the night falls, the Damaged souls reign over the wide and open world. With no rules, nothing can hold back these so-called freaks and ghouls. Watch as Rex is bound, muzzled and blinded by these erotic nurses trying to tame and cure the Damaged mind within his head… Are they too late?”

Primarily and a mix between hard rock, grunge and goth, Residual Self utilizes scything guitars, booming effects, thunderous claps of the low-end bass and drums, while their leader Rex grunts, growls, howls, and snarls his way through their apocalyptic journeys. Accompanied by their themes of demons, lust and power, Rex aims to bring forth the “residual self” in us all.
