Track description from the band:
Throw It Down was recorded and filmed in between the lockdowns of 2020 whenever we were allowed to venture out into what used to be a normal world…

What makes this track so special and why does it stand out?
Well, it’s the debut release with our new fourth member, lead guitarist Aaron King, and as you hit the middle of the track, you’ll find out that Aaron certainly is a King of the Fretboard! Aaron joined Cyanide Sundae over a year ago now, with his first performance being a live set on BBC Radio Kent, but unfortunately just after his first appearance, the momentum was killed by Covid19 and our 13 date tour had to be cancelled. So this new track marks the ascension of Cyanide Sundae transcending into a new upscaled model of our former self.

What is the song about and what inspired the lyrics of this track?
It was written after binge watching 3 seasons of “Kingdom”, which is about life based around an MMA (mixed martial arts) gym in Los Angeles California, featuring heavily on fighting, alcohol, drugs and sex! As 3/4 of Cyanide Sundae are martial artists, it seemed like a no brainer to write a nice aggressive hard hitting track about something that bonds them all together.
