Canadian progressive metal group Red Cain have announced plans to release their latest album, Kindred: Act I, worldwide via Sliptrick Records on January 21st, 2020. In the meantime, the band are busy finishing off production on their new video entitled Juliet, one of the excellent tracks taken from the aforementioned release.

Red Cain made this statement; “We are pleased to announce that we have a killer new music video in the works, this time for our song Juliet from our 2019 album Kindred: Act I. Partnering once again with filmmakers Rik Zak and Jun Ren – our friends behind the award-winning video for ZERO – our vision for Juliet is a cinematic vodka shot, inspired by classic cult films like “From Dusk Till Dawn” and postmodern horror thrillers like “It Follows” and “The Ritual”.

Part 80s road trip and part cult slasher film, Juliet tells a sordid tale of rock and roll, blood, and poetry, woven through with mythological references and adding more depth (and a higher kill count) to the concept behind the latest Red Cain album. We offer this track to Veles, the Hunter – our patron – and honour Slavic pagan tradition with its content. And of course – we simply can’t wait to share it with you all.

Juliet will be stalking the darkness behind Red Cain fans in late 2019/early 2020, in conjunction with the highly anticipated Sliptrick Records release of Kindred: Act I.”
