ΨΥΧΗ (Psychè) is the title of Led By Vajra’s debut full length album. The 10 tracks have been engineered, recorded, mixed and mastered by Gabriele Quaranta. The album is mostly characterized by a “core” attitude an sound but also has the ability to move through different genres that perfectly fit every song. The band likes to think about the tracks as stories they tell, this is the reason why you will only find repeated parts or sections (such as choruses) in a few songs.

If you want to be overwhelmed by the music you listen to, this is the right album for you. The lyrics of every song are linked to a different sphere of the human “Psyche”, that are linked to the soul and the mind. The atmospheres are always gloomy but they are just one of the two faces of each songs that, when heard with an open mind and a deep concentration, reveal positive messages.

It’s all about how you link with the song at that precise moment, because you will perceive a different message depending on your current mental condition. ΨΥΧΗ is about the colours of the soul and the alternate colours of the mind that are reflected in your everyday way of thinking.

Led By Vajra is a female fronted Prog/Core band based in Caserta, Italy. Though their sound features a kind of new wave metal-core, the band bring innovation, moving through different genres and themes. “Vajra” stands for “diamond”, it is the light that shows us the way in the creation of music and lyrics. It reflects a new way of thinking about music that gives the band a unique style of creation but an enlightened mind too, which is reflected in the lyrics of the songs.
