Joining the ranks at Sliptrick Records this week:

Sinezamia (IT) Hard Rock | Dark | Metal

Sinezamia were originally formed in 2004 in Mantova, Italy. Personal life-experiences and existentialism are the major aspects for Sinezamia’s lyrics which are written in Italian. The groups initial musical style was rooted in the dark wave, new wave and Italian rock music of the ’80s.

From 2007 onward, they have released two EP’s, their first self-produced cd Fronde in 2007 and a second called Sacralità in 2009. During that year, Mick Mercer, a British journalist included Sinezamia in his book Music To Die For. In 2011 the band has released a single Ombra followed by, in 2012, the very first album La fuga (once again, self-produced). After publishing the album which saw them changing their musical genre more towards hard rock, dark and metal, the band started gaining positive reviews by music magazines such as the well-known Rockerilla and Rockit in Italy and foreign publications like Rock Hard and Metal Mania.

From 2013 until 2018, the group have played extensively around Europe and released an album and a couple of singles whilst also being included on various releases such as the Joy Division tribute compilation 3.5 Decades – A Joy Division Italian Tribute in 2014. Now the band have signed with Sliptrick Records and plan to release their new album Fingere di essere in the near future.
