Worth Leaving is the new EP from Italian group ClayToRide. The best way to describe it would be as a concentrate of all the experiences, emotions and facts of life that the three band members accumulated in the year before recording. The themes also include all the reasons why the band are moving the project from Italy to look for new sensations elsewhere. This six tracks EP was recorded by Paolo Canaglia at Russian Road Studio at the beginning of last winter winter and represents the “ticket to ride”.

And what exactly does that mean? It means that there’s no fear of leaving the cradle and experience all the shades and emotions of this voyage, looking for better tides. Trying to catch everything that’s worth something, ClayToRide wrote down the six songs to say goodbye to their old paranoia and welcome in to the new ones.

ClayToRide can’t wait to travel and write down everything they see. As with the artwork of the disc, a marine iguana that beats drowning, ready to bring their music to a new step, diving into the ocean.

The band are inspired by “every song/beat that reminds us of something important, as a memory, a dream or even an awareness”. They have been influenced and informed by many bands including the likes of The Doors, Kings Of Leon, Foo Fighters, The Cure, Refused, Placebo, Il Teatro Degli Orrori and Muse.
