US metal group Age Of Fire have released a new lyrics video fro the track King Of Aquilonia taken from their forthcoming album Shades Of Shadow, set for release via Sliptrick Records on February 18th.
Here’s what the group guitarist/vocalist Greg Brown had to say; “Growing up I was a huge fan of the original books of “Conan” by Robert E. Howard. I read him way before I read any other fantasy writers. I’ve enjoyed the movies over the years as well. Conan was just not a strong warrior and thief, he eventually became a King and even had a son. The movies (which is what most people are familiar with) focus on his younger adventuring days, I wanted to write about his later years. I also really wanted to write something lyrically that was based on literature and I recently re-read the series again. I highly recommend them to any fantasy fan!”
